The outside crunch of the super flaky layers of pastry is just the beginning of this delectable dessert.

INGREDIENTS
 1 Box Vegan PUFF PASTRY
 4 oz Vegan CREAM CHEESE (make your own, but we used Miyoko's)
  Package of GUAVA PASTE
 3 tbsp SOY MILK to brush tops
DIRECTIONS

Thaw out frozen VEGAN puff pastry.

Now cut the pastry into an even number of same-sized squares

Place 1/2 of the squares on parchment paper on a baking tray.

Fill center with a spoon of cream cheese.

Lay 2 guava strips on top of the cream cheese.

Slit tops of the puff pastry before you put them on

Now place a top on each pastry

Press down & seal edges with a fork to bind them together.

Brush with plant-based milk for a nice golden final appearance.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar for a beautiful & delicious treat.
