These guava pastry puffs are little in size, but giant in flavor. Guava & cream cheese go together like peanut butter and jelly. The outside crunch of the super flaky layers of pastry is just the beginning of this delectable dessert. Thaw out frozen VEGAN puff pastry.
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Now cut the pastry into an even number of same-sized squares.
Place 1/2 of the squares on parchment paper on a baking tray.
Fill center with a spoon of cream cheese.
Lay 2 guava strips on top of the cream cheese.
Cut the tops of the puff pastry with 3 slits before you put them on.
Now place a top on each pastry
Press down & seal the edges with a fork to bind them together.
Brush with plant-based milk for a nice golden final appearance.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden browned.
Take them out of the oven & sprinkle them with powdered sugar for a beautiful look.
Now try to eat only one. Yeah right! SO GOOD!
