This miso ginger sauce is really to die for! Filled with healthy ingredients but the taste makes you wonder how this sauce can be good for you & taste this delicious.

INGREDIENTS
1 Package of TOFU drained and sliced into squares. I like fairly thin squares as they crisp on the edges better. (Usually 14 ounces)
 ¼ cup MISO Paste
 ¼ cup Coconut AMINOS
 ¼ cup RICE VINEGAR
 ¼ cup MAPLE SYRUP
1 Thumbsize knob of fresh GINGER shredded (more if desired).
Sprouted SPELT FLOUR for dusting tofu (can you cornstarch to make gluten-free)
DIRECTIONS
1

Slice tofu block into desired sized squares.

2

Add the rest of the ingredients to a bowl & using a whisk stir until well-blended.

3

Take your tofu squares and one by one dunk them in sauce and line them up on a plate.

4

Put flour or cornstarch into a sifter and dust one side of the tofu, then turn over and dust the other side.

5

Place in an air-fryer or on a baking sheet.

6

Cook 400 F for 15 on one side; then flip them over and cook for another 8 minutes or so. I actually turned them over one more time and cooked another 2 minutes to get them a bit crispier.

7

Now dip the cooked tofu squares for the last time into the miso sauce to intensify the miso ginger flavor. The step is KEY trust me!

8

ENJOY & try not to eat the whole recipe! These are irresistible!
