My supper crispy smashed potatoes are everything a potato should be, a satisfying crispness on the outer edges, and absolute delicious perfection on the inside. They’re easy, too—nothing fussy or complicated.
Boil water in a pot. Add potatoes and boil till tender.
Drain water. Cut potatoes in half if they are medium-sized. If small already you can leave whole.
Smash using the flat side of a bowl or glass and season & then using a spatula move on to air-fryer tray or baking sheet.
Spritz with a quick spray of olive oil.
Bake 400F for 8 minutes. Flip over and bake for 5 more minutes or until crispy.
