We are living in very unpredictable times right now. There is fear & panic in the air as people are trying to prepare their pantries for what may lie ahead, which is mandatory quarantines as they have done in Italy and China already.
The news is 24 hours a day filling our every waking cell with information, which is overwhelming our nervous systems.
People are standing in lines for hours just to get in the store to buy groceries.
Everyone is hearing every little sniffle, cough or sneeze and thinking that person has been infected with Coronavirus.
People are being laid off with or without pay; shops are closing, and many are faced with not being able to suddenly have any income to pay their bills or buy food.
Stress levels are high and for many life seems to be falling apart.
I know this from experience … because just 2 days ago the golf course where I teach closed up and within a matter of reading that email all my income halted. No time to prepare left me with my head spinning. So I am speaking now from experience because I too am being faced with many financial challenges ahead and since we don’t know how long any closure will be it puts those of us in this position wondering what to do.
So what can we do?
First of all we have to try to calm down. DE-stress and make as many healthy lifestyle choices as we can. We need to calm down our sympathetic nervous system which is the one that is ramped up under stress and things like meditation, hot baths, getting enough sleep and staying focused in the moment. Even if this crisis lasts a long time it too will eventually pass and we can’t lose our happiness and connection to our inner light because of this crisis.
I know it is easier to say “Don’t stress” this rather practice it when times are tough, but we have to learn that we can only do our best and stress, worry and anxiety don’t add one bit of health to any cell, therefore it is a useless emotion. Better to focus in the now and practice mindfulness, especially during times when our minds so easily wander to the problems or potential problems all around us.
Most important is our HEALTH. Without this we have nothing. In order to maintain our health and not be one of the people who fall seriously ill from this virus, we need to stay home as much as possible. Since many are not doing that I believe we will have to have a mandatory quarantine. So do what is best for the whole planet and our fellow human beings and don’t go out unless it is for food. This is a must if we want to get any control over the large surge in outbreaks we are seeing all over the world now. If we don’t slow down this surge our health system will crash… that is certain, so we all have to do our part.
While home you can meditate, read, be creative and think about other ways to make money online, take hot baths, get your sleep, eat as best as possible & comfort and protect those around you living in fear. It is time to appreciate life and enjoy and appreciate those around us. People rise in times of need and you see it happening already. Take care of the elderly and help where you can. Compassion is key right now.
Most are viewing this as a disaster, but what we have been doing to mother earth and nature has been a bigger disaster and honestly, nature always has a way to balance out. If we destroy and overpopulate then disasters have a way to balance things out even if they feel like a catastrophe as many lives are lost. Nature always wins in the end because they are laws that can’t be disobeyed in the long run.
On a health note, you can also use this time to take a few extra supplements like homeopathy and herbs. Right now the following are remedies I have heard from homeopaths all over that can be taken now as a prophylactic:
Ars 30c
Thuja 30c
Oscillococcinum (over the counter package but only use a few pellets in water)
What I do to protect myself is either to take 3x a week one of those. Sometimes I alternate and do Ars 2 x a week and Thuja 2x a week just to be sure. I take 2 pellets and put them in a bottle of 4-8 oz of water and hit the bottle 10x and take one spoon for each dose. If all you have is Oscillococcinum then I take a few pellets and put them in a glass or bottle of water and stir or hit the bottle 10x and take one spoon 2x a week.
Amazing right now they don’t want us talking about how homeopathy can help you. My last YouTube video was taken down because I mentioned a remedy named Gelsemium that may help in times of a pandemic like Coronavirus. So I have to be careful and communicate more details here on my blog.
In closing, I want you to be safe, stay at home, relax as best you can & use this time to do things you wanted to do for a long time or never had time to do. Learn a language; learn about homeopathy, Learn how to cook or whatever stimulates you. Laugh & stay calm. We are all in this together!
